According to the DSP, Komal had illicit relations with her brother-in-law. She also had relations with many land mafias and liquor smugglers. Her family got financial benefits from this relationship, but Ritesh was constantly opposing her for this. Secondly, due to this behavior of accused Komal, her husband left her. He felt bad about opposing his brother, due to which Komal got him killed by her henchmen.
